The Align Program: 6-Week Schroth-Informed Scoliosis Postural Strengthening

Finally Understand Your Scoliosis — And Know What To Do About It

Stop guessing.
Stop overcorrecting.
Stop doing nothing because you're afraid of doing the wrong thing.

A guided, Schroth-informed educational and exercise program for people with scoliosis who want structure, not overwhelm.

No rigid rules.
No fear-based messaging.
Just understanding, awareness, and practical direction.

THE REAL PROBLEM

If you've been diagnosed with scoliosis, you’ve probably experienced one of these:

• “Just watch it.”
• “Just strengthen.”
• “Just don’t worry about it.”
• Conflicting advice from different providers
• Fear of making it worse
• Trying exercises without knowing why

You don’t need more random exercises.

You need to understand what’s happening in your body first.

WHAT THIS COURSE ACTUALLY DOES

This isn’t just information.

It’s a step-by-step learning journey that helps you:

✔ Understand how scoliosis affects posture and breathing
✔ Make sense of your curve pattern without overwhelm
✔ Learn why some cues and exercises work — and why others don’t
✔ Apply foundational concepts safely to daily life
✔ Build confidence in how you lay, sit, stand, move, and breathe

The goal is not perfection.

It’s clarity and control.

FAQ section

Frequently asked questions

Is this physical therapy?

No. This program is educational and supportive in nature and does not provide physical therapy, medical care, evaluation, diagnosis, or individualized treatment. It is designed to help you understand posture, breathing, and movement concepts related to scoliosis in a Schroth informed way.

Who is this course best for?

This course is ideal for individuals with scoliosis (including those with a history of kyphosis or spinal fusion) who want clarity and education without pressure. It’s especially helpful if you feel unsure what movements are appropriate or want to understand your body before starting — or alongside — formal care.

Do I need to know my exact curve type?

No. The course explains common scoliosis patterns and how posture and breathing relate to them. You don’t need to come in with prior knowledge — the goal is to help you learn and make sense of your own body, not memorize labels. There is optional coaching, though!

Is this course appropriate if I’ve had spinal fusion?

Yes. There is a dedicated section that explains what spinal fusion changes — and what it doesn’t — and how posture and breathing still play an important role after surgery.

Will this replace in-person Schroth therapy or physical therapy?

No. This course does not replace individualized care. Many people use it:

  • while waiting to start therapy

  • between sessions

  • after discharge

  • or to better understand what they’re being taught in care

How is this course delivered?

The program is fully online and self-paced. It includes:

  • Pre-recorded educational and Schroth-informed movement videos

  • Visual diagrams and handouts

  • Organized modules you can return to anytime
You’ll have lifetime access to the course materials.

Is there any live support?

This program includes optional access to a private community for one year. Coaching sessions are available if you’d like additional guidance, but they are completely optional.

I’m feeling overwhelmed — is this course gentle?

Yes. The program was intentionally designed to be calm, educational, and non-intimidating. The focus is understanding first, not forcing change, all led by a full time physical therapy teacher and Schroth Certified Doctor of Physical Therapy!
