Hi, I’m Ashley Reedy!

Founder of Reedy to Align • Schroth-based postural care

My work focuses on education-based movement and alignment coaching for individuals with scoliosis and posture concerns.

Separately, I am a licensed physical therapist in Pennsylvania and offer telehealth and in person PT services to PA residents from Scranton Pilates Studio in Scranton, PA.

I am trained in the Schroth Method (C1 and C2) and Scoliopilates (1 & 2). I created Reedy to Align to make postural education and support more accessible, especially for individuals and families who feel overwhelmed, under-supported, or unsure where to turn once the diagnosis of scoliosis or kyphosis is given.

I have seen how often people with scoliosis and kyphosis were told to “watch and wait” without clear guidance. Reedy to Align exists to bridge that gap — offering education, structure, and practical strategies that fit real life.

My approach emphasizes breathing mechanics, alignment awareness, and functional movement, with a strong focus on helping clients understand why they are doing what they’re doing.

The goal isn’t perfection — it’s confidence, consistency, and sustainability!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this physical therapy or coaching?

I offer both scoliosis coaching and licensed telehealth physical therapy, depending on your location and needs.

Coaching is education-based support using Schroth-informed principles and does not replace medical care. Telehealth physical therapy is available only to individuals physically located in Pennsylvania at the time of service.

What’s the difference between coaching and telehealth PT?

Coaching focuses on education, posture awareness, breathing mechanics, and guided routines. It does not include evaluation, diagnosis, or clinical decision-making.

Telehealth physical therapy includes a licensed evaluation, clinical documentation, and a personalized plan of care, and is only available to Pennsylvania residents.

Do you accept insurance for telehealth PT?

Reedy to Align operates on a self-pay, out-of-network model. This allows for longer visits, individualized care, and a focus on education rather than insurance-driven limitations.

Payment is due at the time of service. Documentation may be provided upon request for those seeking potential out-of-network reimbursement.

Do I need an X-ray or imaging to work with you?

Imaging can be helpful, especially for understanding curve patterns, but it is not always required. If you have prior imaging reports, you’re encouraged to bring them. If not, we can still discuss appropriate next steps.

Is this appropriate for adolescents?

Yes. Adolescents can benefit greatly from scoliosis education and guided support. Parent or guardian involvement is strongly encouraged for minors.

Can this replace bracing or care from my physician?

No. Coaching and telehealth physical therapy do not replace care from your physician recommendations regarding bracing. Reedy to Align is intended to complement, not replace, your physician.

I’m not sure where to start — what should I do?

If you’re unsure whether coaching or telehealth physical therapy is right for you, a free consult is the best place to begin. We’ll talk through your situation and identify the most appropriate next step.
